Founded in Sweden and launched in 2019 Ridesum is a training mobile and web app built for equestrians by equestrians. Creator Jenny Stråhle, dressage rider was soon joined by Karin Lindell, Icelandic rider, and Mateusz Dziurla, eventing rider, as co-founders. The team has extensive experience from the equestrian world and many own, breed, train and compete horses in different disciplines.

The company was created from the idea that something was missing from the equestrian world from a data and technical aspect. “One of our co-founders has a background in triathlons but after an injury he became involved with equestrian sport.” Having been exposed to all kinds of technical measuring tools when training for triathlons he noticed that this was not available for equestrians and the idea for Equilab came to life.
